Art direction Our enthusiasm for art direction has brought us many great TV and film assignments over the last 15 years. We’ve created and dressed sets for countless feature films, dramas, TV series, commercials and unique projects. We’ve enjoyed working on everything from the Cirque du Soleil film Quidam, Quidam and the escapist reality programme Expedition Robinson to the Dutch police series Baantjer, and from the American CBS feature film Only Love to commercials for Albert Heijn and Tiscali. The curtains have also regularly opened and closed on many of our theatre sets for artists such as Veldhuis & Kempers and Kane. It’s all been great fun, but now we really want to concentrate on sets that will stand the test of time. In other words, we’ve decided to focus our attention on interior design. We want businesses and the people who work in them to enjoy an environment that reflects who they are and what they stand for. We aim to create interiors that truly express the nature of an organisation, while enabling everyone in it to work freely and with pleasure. To achieve this, we’ll of course be using many of the skills we’ve acquired on our art direction projects. For instance, you can trust us to work quickly and within budget to achieve a distinctive look that’s all about you, not about us. You can be sure we’ll be flexible and that we’ve got more than one style up our sleeve. After 15 years of capturing and expressing the DNA of circuses, jungles, police stations, shopping centres, talk shows, cabaret venues and far, far more, we know how to use an environment to make a statement.
